Covid-19 Safety Protocols

We are Open and Cannot Wait to See you and Always Welcome New Smiles. Call us to Book your Appointment.

Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it’s both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and staff safe.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to make sure that our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We made these changes to help protect our patients and staff. For example:

  • Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
  • The day of your appointment, or no more than 24 hours before, please print the Covid Symptoms Form and Financial Policy form from the tab above. Please bring these completed and signed forms with you to your appointment.
  • At this time, our waiting room is unavailable for family members including spouses, to occupy.
  • When you arrive at our office please call and we will arrange a team member to meet you at the door to take your temperature and collect your forms.  We ask you only bring in necessary personal belongings and wear your face covering.
  • We are minimizing patient crossover and allowing for additional times between patient for thorough sterilization.
  • Once inside, we have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use at our entry way station, and we will collect your completed paperwork as well
  • We will be taking your temperature and pulse oximeter reading.
  • We will then escort you to the operatory, ask you to wash your hands thoroughly, and complete a 1-minute swish with a rinse to reduce the bacterial and viral load and then wash your hands.
  • All of our staff will be wearing up-to-code PPE for the protection and safety of everyone in the office throughout your appointment.

Please note:

Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients and extended protocols for sterilization. Please understand that during this time, our hours of operation and appointment slots are limited. We will do our absolute best to accommodate you.

Please call our office to reschedule if you have: flu-like or cold symptoms, have traveled by air or cruise in the last Thirty (30) days, have been in close contact with someone diagnosed with Covid- 19 and/or are medically compromised (high-risk to contract the virus.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.
